WindowsLatest reported this weekend that Microsoft Teams is offering a new feature to make your presentations even better. (Enter: the Microsoft Teams Powerpoint Live Integration.) This offers presenters the ability to manage everything they need in a single view, including:

-Slides
-Participants
-Chats
How it works
In their announcement, they said, “To use the new PowerPoint presentation feature in Teams, you need to join the Office Insider program. Once updated, a new option called “Present in Teams” will appear in PowerPoint and it is the only feature you need to start the presentation in your Microsoft Teams meeting. With PowerPoint Live, you don’t have to share your screen with the audience. You can click on the “Present in Teams” button to start the presentation of the selected PowerPoint and avoid all potential issues associated with screen-sharing. In other words, you can now navigate between other apps, hide your sensitive information and still conduct the presentation.”
What it means
Now, as a presenter, you’ll be able to both view your content and monitor the chat at the same time. You’ll be able to enhance your presentation with slide notes and grid review. The Microsoft Teams Powerpoint Live integration means a lot more flexibility and control. If you’re not currently using Teams, this is a good time to try it out and see how it works for you!
