The Primal Presenter Chooses An Inner Circle Wisely [Podcast – Episode 5]

The Native American Talking Circle has existed for hundreds of years. It’s the practice of getting together in a circle with others to communicate and solve problems. It’s an ancient tradition which is also rooted in themes of nature – the Earth, Sun, and Moon are round, seasons are cyclical, and so forth. The Talking Circle exists to honor nature as well as provide healing to those who need it. It’s a sacred ceremony that is even modeled loosely today in schools, board rooms, and even locker rooms because it tears down walls, equalizes positions, and encourages others to speak freely.

We are going to be discussing how the primal presenter chooses an inner circle wisely. He or she understands that they are in the business of speaking where their core purpose is to add value to their audiences. Anything less is unacceptable. A primal presenter needs to avoid people who play it safe. Instead, he or she needs to seek out others who will challenge them and encourage their professional or personal growth. After all, if they aren’t learning and growing…how to do they expect to give back or create value for others? It’s essential for the primal presenter to be deliberate with who they allocate their time.
